I have amazing memories from the hot summers in St. Tropez, but the newly minted Hotel Ermitage I could do in the deep of winter as well. What used to be A private 19th century villa is now A 27 room petite hotel decked in pieces by Jean Prouve, Ettore Sottsass and Mathieu Mategot. Hollywood stars photographed by Jean Pigozzi line the walls in the Veuve Clicquot Bar.
