I am personally not a sweets person, but at a friend's dinner party this weekend these absurdly delicious confections were brought to the table for dessert. They are THE perfect housewarming, dinner party, get well, holiday, happy birthday, and any other possible occasion gift. Jeff Koons
The much anticipated new works from one of my personal favorites - Jeff Koons - make their debut tomorrow at Gagosian in Beverly Hills and I will not be missing it. This time the opening will be from 3-5. So, if you plan on stopping by as well, don't show up at 6 - the MOCA Gala has taken that time slot...

Hotel Ermitage

I have amazing memories from the hot summers in St. Tropez, but the newly minted Hotel Ermitage I could do in the deep of winter as well. What used to be A private 19th century villa is now A 27 room petite hotel decked in pieces by Jean Prouve, Ettore Sottsass and Mathieu Mategot. Owner Andre Saraiva says it is intended to be more of A quiet "artists' retreat". Nice...

Indochine: Stories, Shaken and Stirred

Ahhh, the days of the trinity (Linda, Naomi and Christy). Indochine was home away from home in the mid nineties. Combine that with artwork and photographs by Francesco Clemente, Patrick Demarchelier, Tom Sachs and Roxanne Lowit and you have the perfect holiday gift...
